Donna lives an inspired life of passion, business and football. With a foundation in health and wellness, Donna has established herself as one of the most dominant players in women’s professional football. Known as "The Animal," Donna has been playing with the D.C Divas since their inaugural season in 2001 in the NWFL and during her career has played Defensive End, Fullback, Running Back, Linebacker and Tight End for the Divas.
Donna was a 2003 All-Star Running Back and a Divas Team Captain. Donna is the 1st woman in NWFA history to rush for over 1000 yards in a season, and led the league in rushing in 2003 with 1,267 yards in 10 games and was the Divas offensive MVP. That year she became the 1st female in history to win the Washington Pig Skin Club "John W. Posey" award for professional athlete of the year, also awarded to Jeremiah Trotter, Lavernues Coles, Todd Heap and Ed Reed, of the Redskins and Ravens.
Donna was part of a reality TV show called the "Gender Bowl" in 2005 in Los Angeles which aired on the Dish Network in December of 2005. The ladies of the D.C. Divas and Pittsburgh Passion teamed up with a few California players to take on a group of male, former high school football players looking for one more shot at a "Big Game." The men discovered they would be playing women after their first practice, and the 2nd battle of the sex’s game was played at the historic Los Angeles Coliseum. The ladies tied the game with a few seconds left on the clock. Watch the game and see its controversial conclusion online.
In 2007 Donna played in the WPFL in the fall with the Los Angeles Amazons. Donna energized an Amazon defense with big hits, and was named to the WPFL All-Pro team as a Middle Linebacker. The Amazons have since moved to the WFA and compete in the Western Conference.
