Dr. Yolanda Holmes is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a member of the National Medical Association, the Washington DC Dermatology Society, and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Holmes received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Development, followed by a graduate degree from Howard University. Dr. Holmes continued her studies, earning her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr, Holmes completed an internship at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington DC, primarily focused on Internal medicine. Before completing her Dermatology residency, Dr. Holmes was a research fellow at the Department of Dermatology at Howard University. Dr. Holmes has continued to lead a successful medical practice in the heart of the Nation’s Capitol for well over 10 years.
Dr. Holmes is an active participant and volunteer within her community and church, in addition to supporting many non-profit organizations in the Washington, D.C.metropolitan area. Dr. Holmes has always understood the importance of executing strong leadership skills to her staff and current medical students; therefore she serves as a mentor to students and provides opportunities for them to learn in an on-site environment through participating in rotations within her medical office.
Dr. Holmes also has a passion for cosmetic treatments such Botox Cosmetic, Juvederm and recently trained on advanced technique with Radiesse facial filler. She also specializes in hair, nail and skin treatments.
